Built for the people who sign.
Alit exists to give technical accountants more of the one thing they never have enough of: time for the judgement itself.
Why Alit exists
Technical accounting is judgement under scrutiny. Every position has to survive a reviewer, an audit partner and, sometimes, a regulator. Most of the time it takes goes not on the judgement but on everything around it: reading the contract, finding the paragraph, assembling the evidence, drafting the memo.
General-purpose AI makes that work faster and less safe. It writes fluently, cites loosely and decides when it should not. For a profession whose output is a signature, that is the wrong trade.
Alit is a professional judgement engine, built the other way round. It reads the actual contract and the actual record, cites each claim to its source, sets out the positions the standards allow, and leaves the decision with the accountant. The drafting and the tracing are done. The judgement stays where it belongs.
Three commitments behind each release.
Accuracy over fluency
A plausible argument that is wrong is worse than no argument at all. We would rather Alit ask than guess.
Evidence over assertion
Each claim leads to its source, so a reviewer can check the work rather than trust it.
The professional decides
Alit proposes. The accountant who signs makes the call, every time.
